Pumpkin Patch Visit

The first Sat. in October we got the idea to take the kids to the pumpkin patch. Daddy was at the deer lease and Aunt Stacy was kind enough to let us stay the weekend at her house to hang out with her. So Sat. Morning we were up and at the Owens Farm in Plano. It was so much fun and the kids had a blast. When we got there we got in and for 7.00 you got feed for the goats and a free hot dog. So with our feed in hand and ticket for a free hot dog we made our first stop to feed the goats. Both kids loved it and Tanner was trying to give kisses to the goats. Then we were off to ride the hay ride. We got to see the ducks and try to find the missing farmer....I personally did not ever see him. After the hayride we all worked up an appetite so we got the hot dogs and made our way to a picnic table right by the horse stables. There were a few horses there and even two mini horses. To end the day Aunt Stacy bought each of the kids a small pumpkin and the kids got to go and pick them out in the pumpkin patch. Laynie had to run down every row before she got hers and Tanner would pick them up make you think he was going to keep it and then he would throw them down(total boy) finally we found just the right pumpkins and got a photo shoot to show off the chosen ones. All in all it was a wonderful day and wonderful weather and wonderful visit to the pumpkins patch
